Eid Mubarak & Outfit Of The Day


Happy Eid-ul-Fitr to you all! I hope everyone's having a good time; have a safe one.


The dress is a mix of plain georgette and jamawaar. As always, my mum is behind this dress.

So how am I celebrating? Well, right now, I am enjoying with my sisters, listening to music, filling our tummies with lots of sweets and waiting for more Eidi (money we get as a gift from family and friends); just can't wait to spend it. ^_^ We are also expecting tons of guests today so I'll be pretty occupied. Tomorrow, Inshallah, we will go visit some family friends.

To all my readers who requested me to smile more often in my photos; well here is it -- all smiles for you. ♥

  11. Such a beautiful dress!!! Love it!

    Our family didn't do much for Eid. I went to the park and pool during the day with my kids and the two hours we had as a complete family with my husband were spent dining out and shopping for an Eid gift. Unfortunately we had no contact with other Muslims so we didn't really incorporate any traditions like giving money and dressing up fancy in an Eid outfit. It was close to like any other day for us. It's too bad for the kids but I find it very hard to make Eid special since I'm not used to it yet. It takes something I don't yet have to create a sense of festivity when it's not part of my culture and upbringing. There is a kids Eid celebration next Saturday (it's always the first Saturday after Eid) at a mosque nearby that I hope to attend insha'Allah and we will dress up for that.

We spend our day meeting family friends and watch special Eid shows on TV. We also have this party after Eid which is so much fun!! I wish you a very happy & blessed Eid. *hugs*

  17. Eid Mubarak!!! MashAllah you look so pretty!! The smile just adds chaar chand!! I love everything from the colour of the outfit to the clutch to the ring to the shoes and the earrings. The make up is just so pretty esp the lip colour is gorgeous!
