My thoughts
First of all, it’s very difficult to find out your match in this range. Five shades, that appear more or less similar, aren’t enough in my opinion. I myself went for the darkest shade which is Natural Beige but this too turns out quite light for my skin tone. Quite frankly, I don’t see any shade suitable for dark medium skin tones.

The product comes in a standard pump bottle. The shade is lighter than my go to foundation, Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in Shade 54 (which now appears a little dark on me since my tan recovered) and also has a pink undertone which brightens up a dull complexion BUT make sure not to go with a wrong shade as the brightening effect will appear fake. Even though Natural Beige is lighter, I find it okay for my skin color since it's not full coverage and doesn’t apply cakey which is the best part about this product. However, I do wish there were some shades suitable for Asian skins with yellow undertones.

The first thing you notice is the scent; it reminds me of Johnson’s baby powder. The sweet scent trails for a while. It comes out as a liquid with a creamy touch but not thick. Easy to spread, it applies and blends quite well with finger tips but you can opt for a brush too. It feels like you’re applying a foundation-cum-lotion on your face. It gives a dewy look but not greasy which is a good point. I do see that it moisturizes my skin and doesn’t enhance any dryness or fine lines.

The coverage is light and natural but if you wait, let the first layer dry and then lay on the second layer, you can get a medium coverage. My skin appears smooth and lit up when I use it. I won’t say it conceals dark circles or very prominent spots so don’t forget to use a concealer.

As I said, the overall effect is dewy but since it's summer, I dab a pressed powder over it to get a matte finish. That also helps it last longer. Without a pressed powder, it slides right off from my oily t-zone after an hour or two.

This foundation doesn’t wear up to 14 hours as it claims. On my combination skin, it wears for five hours maximum combined with a setting powder which means that it wears out fast if you don’t set it with a compact/translucent powder. But even with a pressed powder, my t-zone appears shiny after three hours. So the question is, is this foundation suitable for combination to oily skin types? My answer would be no, not for summer at least. It is only suitable for those with a dry to normal skin type. Sorry oilies.

Another concern I have is that there aren’t any ingredients mentioned on the bottle. It says, it’s SPF 8 but you can’t prove that since there are no ingredients mentioned.

All in all, this is a decent medium coverage foundation suitable for dry to normal skin types with a very affordable price tag. It can be your everyday foundation that works best if paired with a compact powder. I would have given it an extra half only if the shade range was better.

You might like it if…
  • You have a dry to normal skin type.
  • You want a daily wear foundation.
  • You want a foundation with a natural light to medium coverage.
  • You want a foundation that blends easily.
  • You want a foundation that moisturizes.
  • You are looking for a budget-friendly foundation.
You might not like it if…
  • You have combination to oily skin type.
  • You expect a long wear.
  • You don't set it with a pressed powder.
  • You don’t find your shade in the range
  • You have yellow skin undertones.
  • The mild scent bothers you.
