I love nail polishes with profuse glitter and shimmer in it. The Opulence Collection is a breathtaking addition by piCture pOlish.

Monroe
Monroe is a gorgeous holographic blood red jelly with so much depth. I love the formula; it goes on smooth. It’s wonderful how it appears under different lighting – sometimes it’s a blood red, a maroon or a goth red. This shade reminds of
vampires. The holographic shimmer and the jelly finish give it an unfathomable abyss; appears as if you’re looking at distant stars in a red space. I applied 3 coats of the polish and a top coat.

Mask-a-rade
Mask-a-rade is my favorite of them all. It has a clear base with multi chromatic particles and needs a black/dark base coat to achieve full effect! If you look at it closely, it appears like confetti falling down. The overlapping sparkles make it mysterious and interesting. The formula is good. Unlike
Peacock, it is thin and easy to work with. I applied 2 coats of black crème as base with a single coat of Mask-a-rade and a top coat.

Peacock
Peacock is an emerald green micro glitter layering nail polish with some blue/white sparkle. It has a sheer purple base that gets fully opaque after three coats but I don’t suggest doing that. The formula isn’t a quick drying one so if you’re a person who has to get all her nails done in say less than 10 minutes, the best option you got is to layer it on a purple crème. This particular polish is bit hard to work with. First, I thought I’d do just three coats but it didn’t turn out well. The formula is a bit gloopy and tends to accumulate on the tips while layering up on each other. If you don’t let it dry, the second layer could pull along the first one ending up ugly. So remember to take your time if you only want this on your nails.
Due to the purple fluro it dries off matte so a layer of top coat is all what you need to gloss it up. I applied 2 coats of OPI
Light my Sapphire as base with a swipe of Peacock and a top coat.
How about Mask-a-rading the Peacock?

All in all, great job on the new collection piCture pOlish! The Opulence Collection is available on the
website for AU$ 13.50/bottle; they ship worldwide.

ReplyDeleteI wasn't sure what to expect when they were applied but I have to admit I like them. Peacock is my favorite! How hard was it o get these to come off?
ReplyDeleteMonroe was easy but yeah the other two shades take time to get off. I did one coat which wasn't that hard to get off while they weren't completely dry. :)
