After going through rave reviews on MAC blushes, how could someone like me not care at all? I HAD to get it so here I am, with my review on MAC Peaches.
According to MAC, it’s a pure peach (Sheertone).

| MAC Sheertone Blush in Peaches - swatch |
Don’t be scared of the word “Sheertone” (I know it sounds scary to us medium complexions). A sheertone blush offers a natural flush of color and if desired, you can build the intensity.
I wanted a day time blush for spring/summer and since I hadn’t tried any matte blusher from MAC, I thought it’s time to give it a shot. Initially, I wanted Melba but because it was out of stock at Agha’s, I settled for this one. I wasn’t really sure at first (Agha’s doesn’t have MAC testers) but my sister kept assuring that we made the right choice. And so we did! It turned out amazing on my skin tone. I think this shade will suit just about anyone in Pakistan.
It’s matte which makes it a good choice for daytime. If I want to turn it into shimmer, I sweep my MSF in Pearl or Sleek MakeUP’s Rose Gold over it. Two swipes and that’s it for me. I honestly don’t like keeping a light hand and being too careful with my blushes so this might not be your thing if you like super pigmentation. I like it because I think it gives me great control during application. I can build the layers to create the depth of color I want. I really like the texture of this product – its silky smooth, easy to blend and thank God no fallouts! I being combination and her being oily, us sisters think it lasts for HOURS.
If you want to see how it looks on my face, just follow the LINK.
You might like it if…
- You’re looking for a matte blush for daytime.
- You want a blush that would look natural on you.
- You don’t like being too careful and keeping a light hand.
- You have a medium skin tone. (NC 20-35).
- You think it’s not affordable in Pakistan. Uh Hello? It’s PKR 2895 here (around $32).
- You like super pigmentation.
- You not into matte finishes.
- You’re too tan or too fair.
5/5

ReplyDeleteI love matte blushes. If I want a bit of shimmer I use a highlight but this is such a nice peach shade!
ReplyDeleteI love peach shade because it's more suitable for medium complexion. :)

ReplyDeletegggorgeous shade of peach. I love orangy shades. Have you ever tried Nars Taj Mahal?
ReplyDeleteNope I haven't. I have yet to try Nars blushers :) xx
DeleteYou should give it a shot :) I was a bit scared of it cause it's so orangy and I'm olive shade but it gives a gorgeous sunkissed look. I broke mine though, and I'm looking for a dupe :) You only need a little bit too :)
DeletePeaches are super pretty. :D The swatch is gorgeous too, but man, it sure is pricey. (*_*)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shade <3 Great review sara!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely something I want to buy. Great review!
ReplyDeleteoh so cool colors, amazing thing is its not sheer at all :P, lovely baby yaara
ReplyDeleteI love MATTE and MAC blushes :D Can't wait to try MAC blushes. Great review. Love the color, and it looks really pretty on you.
ReplyDeleteI've not tried this! Maybe beause I own a zillion peach blushes! This does look beautiful and I'm sure one day I will give in and buyyyy xx
ReplyDeleteSooooo pretty :) :) & Its worth having it for sure :) xx
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful peach color! This would look great on you in the spring and summer :)
ReplyDeleteI actually just bought this the other day :)! Peach blushes are my weakness, they go with absolutely everything and I swear I would own a zillion of them if I didn't have some self control ;) I don't particularly like using a light hand with my blushes either, so I wasn't too impressed with Peaches since it is on the sheer side (I guess they don't call it sheertone for nothin')! I wish it was a tad more orange with a little less brown, so most definitely not my holy grail peach blush, but a good one for the collection!
ReplyDeleteStunning photos as always xox
Thanks Massachusetts! :) I am a keen peach blush fan. I am glad it suits me. <3
Deletewow, this looks like the perfect blush for spring!! I would love to see a makeup look using this :))

ReplyDeletei'm confused between this and melba, lets see what i end up with :D
I'm glad you chose this over melba which has hints of brown in it.
ReplyDeletePeaches is my summer staple. Love it with freckletone. I bought it for Rs.2000 from Mediplus Islamabad. They have seriously the best prices in Mac cosmetics.
I Love peaches
