Illamasqua is coming out with a bold collection called Human Fundamentalism. I'm truly excited posting about it.
What is Human Fundamentalism?
Human Fundamentalism is an explosion of your alter ego. It’s becoming who you are and not who you’re told to be. Because beauty isn't conformity, but the fundamental human desire to express your inner self on the outside.
To rise above mainstream limitations and exist in a world where individuality is received with celebration not derision, and breaking the mould is a SIGN OF STRENGTH NOT INSTABILITY.
Get ready for a startling celebration of humanity’s connection with colour. Introducing the Human Fundamentalism collection, where blinding flashes of pigment provide a sharp contrast to neutral tones, creating a saturated palette that catapults your alter ego to new levels of self-expression. Mix contrasting textures to express your true self, spiraling from rich metallic to pale matt shades. This is nonconformity at its most fundamental. At its unpredictable best.

Each of these glorious colours makes a statement that is as individual as you are. Highly pigmented, prepare for an intensity that's not just colour-true but extremely long-lasting. Experiment and be bold.
My thoughts
It’s my first ever encounter with Illamasqua powder eye shadows and I have to say I am really impressed. I love how pigmented they are despite being matte. Matte shadows tend to be less pigmented and hard to work with however this is not the case with these. They have a silky smooth texture, are easy to apply and blend with virtually no fall outs on application. My favorite from the three is Burst; it’s such a unique shade.
I know the shades aren't so wearable but I enjoyed creating a look with it.

Illamasqua Sealing Gel
One drop of this cult product turns any powder into a colour-intense, water-resistant paste that dries quickly and lasts for hours. Blend with Powder Eye Shadow, Pure Pigment, Eye Brow Cake or Eye Liner Cake and use across the face and body for endless creative opportunities. Be bold, be original and stand out from the crowd.
My thoughts
This product is a genius. It’s amazing how I can turn my eye shadows into eyeliners using this. I know I can wet my brush, dip into some shadow and line my eyes but the color fades within 2 hours. Now instead of dipping a wet brush, I pour some sealing gel on the shadow, quickly mix and apply. This not only makes the color rich but also locks it for hours - it doesn’t smudge, crease or fade. The only downside to this is that you’d be ruining your pretty eye shadows because it forms a hard crust where you drop it so make sure not to pour too much.
I have created a look using the products. It's inspired by one of Illamasqua's looks from the collection. I had a lovely time creating this. I love being bold and expressive through my makeup. The collection is perfect to reveal that part of me. I hope you like it.
FYI, the feather earrings were made by my sis. Illamasqua put those feathers in my package and my sis insisted using them in my look. She's very creative, isn't she?
