In order to keep up with the latest this season, Sleek MakeUP comes with another new product to embrace the cool-toned trend. Molten Metal in Steel and Ash is here to help you create that lunar look!
Sleek MakeUP Molten Metal – Steel and Ash
Illuminate your eyes with Molten Metal’s newest shades in Steel and Ash, a cool duo of graphite and silver. The intensely pigmented formula applies like a dream, whilst the vivid colour stays strong and crease free.
The creamy texture allows for easy application, making dramatic eyes quick and easy to apply.
For starry, smouldering eyes highlight the inner corner of the eye and brow bone using Steel, with Ash to contour and line the eyes.
$10.50

Clearly this duo is not something with which you could create a wearable look but it’s definitely perfect for a glam night out! I personally like this duo as I had so much fun creating a bold look with it.
Both the shades are highly pigmented and very easy to swatch. They glide on effortlessly and give a metallic finish. Steel has got some silver sparkle in it unlike Ash which is totally metallic. As you know it’s a cream eyeshadow duo so it’s bound to crease. I did everything to stop it from creasing. I used UDPP and layered up my lid with NYX jumbo pencil in ‘Milk’ to see if this combo would help. After applying them I dabbed the same color eyeshadow to set but that didn’t help either. What I gathered was that they should only be applied on the lid and not in the crease area of your eye to minimize creasing.
The lasting power is just okay. They tone down after a while and appear blotchy on my lid so I am not quite pleased with the wear. A little less creamy texture would have helped with the crease thing but I still find it appealing as it’s just right to create BOLD looks! I think it’s a great product for fashion/makeup shoots for which you don't have to wear your makeup on for long hours.
You might like it if…
- You want to create bold looks.
- You like the pigmentation.
- You don’t want your eyeshadow to crease.
- You want your eyeshadow to last.
