My thoughts:
The Au Naturel palette is a blend of muted and rich warm colors like the autumn. The purple, fawn and various shades of brown in this palette depict the brilliant hues in autumn leaves.

Sleek MakeUP is one of my favorite brands when it comes to eye shadows. So, naturally I had high expectations from this one too. Unlike other Sleek palettes I have, this palette has got more matte shades than metallic. The ones in the upper row are disappointingly unpigmented. I wasn't expecting that at all! I also found them to have a hard texture plus they are very difficult to swatch - they take numerous swipes to build up. ‘Taupe’ is the only shade in this row to have a better pigmentation. Others are sheer and wouldn’t show up that easily. However, I am pleased with the pigmentation of the bottom row. But that doesn’t make me love this palette - the repetition of browns seems dull to me unless coupled with other colors.

Like other Sleek palettes, the eye shadows blend nicely with minimal fall outs. You may pick this palette if you want to create natural day time looks and love smokey eyes. Personally, I don’t think it is Sleek MakeUP's answer to UD Naked palette (some say it is). It may have a few dupes but it is still no where close to UD's Naked.

I have compared this palette to Sleek i-divine Storm and Sleek Oh So Special. If I had to pick my favorite among them, I would have a hard time choosing between Storm and Oh So Special. I LOVE them both - can't choose one!

You might like it if…
  • You want to create natural day time looks.
  • You want to create smoky eyes.
  • You are into neutral eye shadows.
  • You like the pigmentation of the darker shades.
  • You like the price.
You might not like it if…
  • You expect the lighter shades to be pigmented.
My rating:
3.5/5

Sleek Au Naturel i-Divine Palette comes with a price tag of $10.50 and can be purchased online from their website HERE (Sleek MakeUP ships worldwide). If you live in the U.K, Sleek MakeUP can be found at all Superdrug outlets.

So what do you think about this palette? Take it or leave it?

  5. Glad you were honest about the top row ones but still think it will be brilliant to do smokey eyes because of the matte colours unlike the naked palette... xx

  7. nice to see them put in some more matte colours. I love my storm palette, but I cannot use it for school because the colors are too metallic and shimmery!

  10. I have one! I especially love to blend moss and cappuccino shades, but i have pale complection with yellow undertones. I don't think that this palette will match olive tone skin like yours.

  35. I love the colours and they do appear to be highly pigmented. The darker colours can be trickier to blend as they lack the silkiness of some higher end products. I also do not find they are particularly long wearing even when worn over UD's primer potion. That said the packaging, colours and price are amazing, if you want beauty on a budget you can't do much better than this.
