I have always been fascinated by the magic of highlighting. A highlighter is supposed to add glow to your face, making it look more alive and youthful. RBR highlighting liquid won me over the moment I swatched it!
Seas of Illumination Highlighting Liquid
This multipurpose water-based fluid blends easily with moisturizer, or with foundation, to customize the look - to yours alone. Create an inside-out illumination effect and blend it to a thin, refined wash of pearls. Light fragrance of Cucumber with a touch of Peach Flower will add to your application pleasure. A quartet of shades with Melissa extract to soothe, and Vitamin E to guard against aging. The highlighting liquid can be used alone or over moisturizer and as a highlighter, over foundation, too.

Rouge Bunny Rouge “Sea of showers” is a beautiful highlighting liquid that gives a subtle dimensional look to the face. With finely milled golden shimmer and highlights, it gives my skin a natural dewy look.
This product impressed me with the very first usage. Though it looks dark in the bottle but when I first pumped it out, I noticed that it was a perfect shade to match my skin-tone. It has a thick cream-like consistency and appears frosty with subdued shimmer that doesn’t bother much and also it tones down after a while. I can safely wear it in the daytime too without looking like Edward Cullen under the sun.
It blends in seamlessly but because it dries so quickly, I have to make sure not to delay the blending or it would get more accumulated where I’d put it. I haven’t personally tried to mix it with my foundation or moisturizer as I like layering it up. I wear it on my forehead, nose and cheeks and I can appreciate the luminous glow on my face for good five to six hours. I’d suggest not over-applying the product as it tends to layer up and could end up looking bad. A thing that particularly came as a surprise to me was its scent. It has a mild pleasant scent to it that remains for a while.
The RBR highlighting liquid comes in a slender bottle. I really love the packaging – it’s very unique and eye-catching. It comes with a pump-nozzle which makes it easier to control the desired amount of product. You just need a pea-sized amount – trust me! A little goes a long way. I am wearing the highlighter in my recent makeup posts. Have a look at my Vampire Look & Pakistani Bridal Look.
