This is my first ever product from Revlon and I am really glad it's finally within my reach.

My thoughts
Honestly, it’s not a bad gloss- it certainly has its highs and lows. ‘Play up pink’ is a pretty pink color with finely milled shimmer in it. As the name implies, it is definitely creamy and has a smooth texture. The consistency is thick but not as thick as NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream. It has super moisturizing properties, applies evenly and doesn’t feel heavy at all. BUT it feels a little sticky, then again I think that adds to its lasting power. It has a peculiar scent to it that could put you off. But for me, it isn’t so overwhelming. Have dealt with worse!

The pigmentation of it is amazing. I never really expect a full coverage from a lip gloss but this one covers nicely on the first swipe, which is a BIG perk! It will give the same color to your lips as it looks inside the tube- not many glosses can do that. I think it’s a two-in-one thing. It seems like I’ve applied a translucent gloss on top of a pink lippie. What I love most about it is the added plump it gives to my lips. It makes them look fuller naturally.

The gloss stays put on me for like two to three hours without eating or drinking, after that it starts fading but thanks to the formula, it fades evenly and leaves behind a pink tint. I'd suggest not building up too much of it as it tends to accumulate in the lip lines which looks ugly so better not try that.

Coming to the packaging. Well, it’s not something new to me as I’ve used click pen products before so it was sort of easy for me to deal with it. However it gets on my nerves when I keep on twisting and the product doesn’t come out and after a while it gushes out in a large amount. I admit it’s difficult to control the amount of gloss you need with such a complicated packaging. I suppose that’s a major con.

Overall, I find it a good lip gloss for daily usage and I would be interested to try out other shades as well.
