So finally I am posting a review on the kajal eye liner I am using these days.
Oriflame Beauty Kajal Eye LinerThe company says:
Ultra long lasting, blacker than black kajal for intensely sultry eyes. Contains chamomile extract and antioxidant properties to help soothe and moisturize. Light, non-greasy formula leaves your skin with a wonderfully soft, velvety feel. 25 g.

My thoughts
I bought this kajal eye liner a couple of months back from a consultant friend. Before getting it, I read a review of it on some Indian blog where it was mentioned that it was the blackest kajal the girl has ever tried. So, I was curious to try and see for myself if it would work the same for me. Yes, I agree! No doubt, of all the kajals and kohl pencils I’ve used till date, I found THIS to be the most pigmented and blackest of them all. This kajal stays put for more than six hours without fading or smudging. You do notice a little smearing there after. It has a creamy texture and glides quite smoothly. It is a jet black shade and appears real dark when you build it up. It has a sweet mild scent too.
Removing this kajal liner completely is the most difficult thing on earth for me and I don't like that part. Maybe that's why it stays put on the water-line so well. BUT please keep in mind that I don't use this product as an eye liner. I only use it on my water line. Since it has a creamy texture, it doesn't work any good as an eyeliner. It smudges and fades very quickly if you use it over your lid for that purpose especially if you have oily lids.
I can easily apply it on my water line without any fear of making a mess as it is so pigmented that two swipes of it are enough for a neat finish. Nevertheless you can build it up for a bold look. I like the packaging. For a kajal liner, it has a unique packaging. It comes in a shiny black stick similar to a lip-stick. I do sometimes confuse it with my lipsticks.
Overall, I’d say that it is a good kajal to use on water line. It's easy to use and gives a neat finish.
It costs PKR 429. You can get one for yourself from any Oriflame Consultant.
Update: This kajal is quite prone to breakage; mine broke off its base so be careful.

What do you think about it? Has anyone tried it yet?

for all the girls out there to remove ANYYY sort of eye-make up , including kajol, just use an eye ointment like POLYFAX- believe u me it gives 100% satisfaction. even if it gets into ur eye u dont hav to worry about a red eye like while removing wid those make=up removal creams...
ReplyDeletetell me one thing.. hw i'll b able to use the remaining kajal as a eye liner once the pointed top is consumed??
ReplyDeleteonce the pointed side is gone wont it b hard to use it for lining?? especially on eye lids!
Wow I want to try it, how interesting!
ReplyDelete@Sobia, that's why I have not mentioned using it as an eyeliner at all. I use it on my waterline and the whole review is based on that :)

ReplyDeleteNope, Ayesha, its not available at Naheed or Agha's
ReplyDeleteI am so tempted after reading this review. I prefer using soft, creamy eye liners as kajals. Does this kajal smudge, as most tend to do especially in hot, humid weather?
ReplyDeleteoh, then from where should i get this?
ReplyDelete@Shang, no it doesn't smudge at all. :)
ReplyDelete@Ayesha, you can get it from any Oriflame consultant. Check this link here: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000607782122
