L'Oreal White Perfect Transparent Rosy Whitening - Review

Hey ladies,

Today, I am going to review the NEW "White Perfect" creams (day and night) by L’Oréal Paris.

New White Perfect – Transparent Rosy Whitening by L’Oréal Paris
L’Oréal’s skincare laboratories have created a formula enriched with Pink Tourmaline, a semi-precious stone, known to have electro-magnetic properties to stimulate skin microcirculation under the sun thus decreasing a yellowish complexion with a rosy radiant glow, the New White Perfect – Transparent Rosy Whitening Fairness Control Moisturizing Cream.

Introduced in Pakistan and simultaneously being launched in other countries, the cream’s Tourmaline gemstone powder builds radiance with a healthy rosy glow. Tourmaline itself is renowned for its pyro and piezoelectric properties, that help in blood stimulation and has unique healing abilities such as the ability to calm nerves, regulate hormones, fight against genetic disorders and induce a tranquil sleep. The day cream specifically also contains advanced melanin block that inhibits melanin formation to fight against skin darkening and SPF15 to fight against UV rays with its patented Mexoryl SX UV filter system that causes darkening of skin. The night cream acts during the night for radiant rosy skin in the morning, while the Vitamin E in the cream acts to lighten skin during the night. With its comforting and velvety texture, the cream is quickly absorbed revealing an even and transparent complexion.

My thoughts
I have been using this cream for two weeks. It has an added UV filter so it works both as a moisturizer and sun block. It also has a non-greasy texture with a creamlike consistency. I must say it has a very pleasant fragrance. It absorbs quickly and gives a glowy/luminous effect to my skin. However, I have noticed that if I exceed the amount a little, it creates a white film on the skin. So, I have to be careful to apply the right amount.

This cream is a really good moisturizer especially for dry skin types. I’d not say the same for oily skin as it feels tad heavy on my oily zones when I am out under the sun and also my oily zone gets sweaty maybe because it also has sun blocking ingredients in it. Therefore acne prone areas are prone to get stimulated with this product. I haven’t experienced any break outs as such but I would not personally use it in day time.

My final verdict on this cream would be that it is a good moisturizer with sun blocking property. Great for people with dry to normal skin types looking for a two in one product! It also costs PKR 1050 and is available at all superstores.

My thoughts
No doubt this is a really good moisturizing cream for night. I have been using this product for over two weeks now and I really like the feel of it on my skin. It has subtle fragrance which is quite appealing. It has a non-greasy velvety texture. As for the consistency, I’d say that it lies somewhere between a cream and gel. I don’t feel any heavy layer on my skin when I apply it. It absorbs quickly into my skin making it feel completely hydrated.

I won’t say that my blemishes/dark spots have magically disappeared in such a little time but I have notice that my skin tone has become somewhat even after using it. So, it works well as an exfoliant I guess. It must speeds up the process by which our natural skin cells shed off to get rid of spots and blemishes.

Overall, I’d say that I like the night cream more than the day one. It’s a good moisturizer which helps to brighten the skin tone. In my opinion it is suitable for all skin types (including the oily/combination) as it didn’t break me out at all. It costs PKR 1050 and is available at all superstores in Pakistan.

What do you think about the White Perfect range? Have you tried it?

  12. I have been using the day cream for about two weeks, and I found it really works. Have read someone on the internet said that applying the night cream will lead to double extraordinary result, and I found she was completely right! I think you also right when saying that the night cream has such exfoliating stuffs that it makes my dried skin peel off on the first third or fourth day. And I found it worked great after. ANd yes, I completely agree with you that the night cream feels so much better than the day into my skin.

  13. It burnt my skin around my nose area and caused my skin to be dry. I don't know if it's because of the mixture of products. I use SK-II 's gentle cleanser, whitening source lotion and treatment essence with it. Stopped using the moisturiser completely after it burnt my skin.. =(
Bt love it though cause it did brighten up my skin the very next day after I use it at night. Hmm.

  15. I have used the night cream since a year now since I have fallen in love with it. It is so velvety and light and really makes the skin supple, even and glowing. Sadly, now that I am looking to order it online I find that it is not on the L'oreal website anymore, so I am getting suspicious now about why they stopped it

  16. Ive used the day cream, and i recently bought it like 5-6 days ago, and it costs 800 PKR from the pharmacy that i bought, i did notice a tingling feeling when i applied it, other than that i dont think it works or anything. There arent any proper directions on how to apply it, I will be using it again to observe more of its properties. I havent seen any pimples coming through, do let me know if you have tried the ponds whitening cream which comes in a pink lid

  19. I am loyal to L'oreal product since 16th years old. Now I am 29. It really works on me. The dark spot that I've got after my pimples heals have disappear in just within a week. But now I am searching for HALAL product of cosmetic which has good performance as L'Oreal Paris. Because I did not know the L'Oreal product is Halal or not. I hope that L'Oreal is HALAL product because it is hard for me to search the Halal product which is suitable with my skin types. Sigh.

  20. Hey Sara. Great review! Love your blog girl! I wanted to ask if I should purchase them for winters? I have a combination skin (Oily T). Or if you have any other suggestions for a good winter cream which would help improve the complexion as well. Thanks. xx

    1. Hey there, this cream only helps to even out the skin tone. For spots, it's better if you consult a dermatologist for a prescription cream. :) x
