The Body Shop Baked to Last Bronzer in 01 (Golden Bronze) - Review & swatches

I am going to review one of my favorite bronzers today. It's The Body Shop - Baked to Last Bronzer.

Create a sun-kissed glow with a natural-looking bronzer, handmade and slow-baked for up to eight hours of deliciously rich color.

My thoughts
This is my very first bronzer. I got it around three months back. I am very excited to share my views on it because I’ve been waiting for a very long time (three months for me is a long time to share something as good as this) for this review. I fell in love with this bronzer the instant the sales girl did a swatch for me. I knew the search for my first bronzer has come to an end and the next moment I was leaving the shop satisfied with my buy.

I find this bronzer to be a perfect brown for my skin tone- neither too dark to look awkward nor too light to have difficulties showing up. It is a pretty brown shade which is extremely pigmented and buildable. It has very fine/dispersed golden shimmer in it that looks great at night but a little too much for the day time. I love the fact that even after a long time it doesn’t just wear down to shimmer. It is quite long lasting I must say! I love how my face looks all contoured. You can also build it up for a more dramatic look!

I love the packaging it comes in. It is a domed shaped mineral bronzer packed inside a cute transparent plastic casing. It is palm sized which I think is a HUGE amount.

I apply this bronzer on the depression under my cheek bones with my Sigma angled top kabuki F84 for a more precise application. I really like the depth it gives to my cheekbones.

Here's the swatch (builded):

Overall, I’d say it’s a great mineral bronzer. I’d not suggest to use it in the day time as it has loads of shimmer in it that will look too over the top. Otherwise it looks gorgeous in the night time.

It costs PKR 2195 which sure is expensive but totally worth it.

What do you think about it? Has anyone tried it?
